Run Query

You can run any type of query as a "Browse" type query. With the Queries form displayed, select the query then press Run.

  1. From the Tools menu, select the Queries... option.

    The Queries form is displayed.

  2. Select the query you want to run.
  3. (If any parameters are allowed on the query) Add parameters.

    1. For each parameter, specify a criteria operator and value for which records to include in the query results.

      Information on criteria operators is available in Criteria Operators.

    2. If the Add button is available, you can add additional parameters and values for qualifying records.

      Note: The parameters you add will not be available next time the query is run (they can be added again).

      1. Press Add.
      2. Select from the available fields, specify a criteria operator, and value.
  4. Press OK when ready.

    If you press OK without specifying parameter values, all records are included. If you specify parameter values that result in unsatisfactory results, press Options... and select the Refresh option and re-enter parameters.
