Edit Distinct Value Lookups

When distinct value lookups are invalid, you can change them. You can not change the distinct value to an existing value (use merge for this).

  1. From the Tools menu, select Distinct Value Lookups.
  2. Highlight the distinct lookup to modify, then press Setup.
  3. Highlight the specific value to change, then press Edit.

  4. Type new value, then press OK.

    The number of records the distinct value is used in is listed.

  5. Type Yes in the required field, then press OK.

  6. The new value is changed in records it is used in, and is available for new lookups.

    The previous value is no longer available.
