Modify Existing Toolbars

  1. From the Tools menu, select Workstation Options.

  2. Press Customize Toolbars.

    The Customize Toolbars form is displayed with all current toolbars.

    You can access the Customize Toolbars form by placing your cursor over a toolbar then pressing your right-mouse button, then selecting Customize Toolbars.

  3. Highlight the toolbar you want to modify.

  4. Press Properties.

    The Toolbar Properties form General section is displayed.

  5. Specify Button Style.

    Select this button style To do this
    Icon Only Display toolbar buttons with icons only.
    Icon & Text Display toolbar buttons with icons with descriptive text for each icon.
    Text Only Display toolbar buttons with text only.
  6. Specify Startup Dock Position.

    Toolbars can be attached to a particular side of the application window, or float anywhere in the application workspace. If the toolbar is docked, you can specify which side it docks on.

    Select this startup position To do this
    Not Docked Have the toolbar float in the FH workspace.
    Top Display toolbar attached to the top side of the window.
    Left Display toolbar attached to the left side of the window.
    Right Display toolbar attached to the right side of the window.
    Bottom Display toolbar attached to the bottom side of the window.
  7. Specify Other options.

    Select this option To do this
    Movable Move the toolbar within the workspace.
    Closable Close the toolbar.
    Show Tool Tips Display tips that describes the toolbar button the cursor is positioned over.
    Hot-Track Buttons Highlight the button when the cursor is positioned over the button.
  8. Click the Buttons tab (when available) to specify buttons to include in the toolbar.
