Dispatch/Remote Station Incident Report

Incidents can be added to this area as part of dispatch, or remote station incident response.

When incident reports are added as dispatch reports, information is entered, the incident is marked as finished, and incident data is transferred to the NFIRS or EMS area and removed from the dispatch/remote station incident area.

Remote station incident response is added in the same manner; however, the incident is not marked as finished. Units and Personnel added for the incident will be included in exports to other stations. A NFIRS or EMS main report will not be created at the remote station, and the remote station response incident remains in the dispatch/remote station incident area.

  1. Select the File menu, Dispatch & Remote Station Response Entry... option to display the Dispatch/Remote Station Incident Report form (or press Ctrl + I).
  2. Complete all required fields.

    Note: If this is a remote response record, be sure to enter the correct FDID, Alarm Date, and Incident Number so the information will append to the main incident report with the corresponding FDID, Alarm Date, and Incident Number when exported.
