Add new forms to the smart forms library

After you create new editable PDF files in Adobe Acrobat, you need to place them in a specific directory for FH Mobile Response to find them and use them as smart forms.

Information on creating new forms is available in Create editable PDF forms.

  1. In Windows Explorer, copy the new editable PDF files you created in Adobe Acrobat.
  2. In FH Mobile Response, choose GO → Open → Administrative → Smart Forms Directory.

A Windows Explorer window appears, set to C:\Program Files (x86)\FH Mobile Response\Program\Preplans\SmartForms\Templates.

  3. Navigate into the hierarchy of smart forms folders in that window, until you find the appropriate sub-folder for your new files.
  4. Paste the new files into the appropriate sub-folder.

Using Windows Explorer, you can organize the folders and files in the hierarchy of smart forms as you wish.

Note: Whenever you make changes to the organization or content of the smart forms folders, you need to update FH Mobile Response so that it finds your changes.

  5. Follow the directions in Update smart forms to update the smart forms internal database in FH Mobile Response with your editable PDF files.
