View a summary of incident elements (types)

For more complex incidents, you can locate and characterize separate components, called elements, within a single incident. Groupings of specific incident elements are referred to as incident types.

An incident can have more than one type, and each type can have its own location, weather, and guidance associated with it.

Note: You must have purchased FH Mobile Response Premium to work with incident types in FH Mobile Response. For information on upgrading from FH Mobile Response Basic to Premium, contact your FH sales representative.

  1. (If an incident is not already open) Open an incident, as described in Open an incident.
  2. On the incident's Summary sub-tab, under Types, view the listing of the elements identified for the incident.

    Note:

    • If the Summary sub-tab does not appear, it may be hidden through a configuration setting in FH Mobile Response. Information on displaying or hiding the Summary sub-tab is available in Display or hide incident sub-tabs.
    • Information appears in the Types section only if the initial incident dispatch included type information, or if you have manually added type information.
  3. (Optional) Click the eye (view ) icon on the right side of each element listing to view the details of the element.

The incident's Types sub-tab appears, listing detailed information about the element.

Information on adding and working with elements is available in Add elements (types) to the incident.
