Specify the service password

If you elected to install FH CAD Monitor as a service, you specified login credentials during the installation process. You should also specify the password for the account you are using to manage the service in the Windows Services tool, to prevent problems starting the service.

1. Choose Start → Settings → Control Panel.

   The Control Panel window appears.

2. Double-click Administrative Tools.

   The Administrative Tools window appears.

3. Double-click Services.

   The Services dialog box appears.

   Note: The FH CAD Monitor service name is the same as the folder you installed FH CAD Monitor in.

   Example: FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Printrak

4. In the right pane, scroll down and then double-click the name of the FH CAD Monitor service.

   The service name Properties dialog box appears.

5. Click the Log On tab.

   

6. For This account, verify the user account that you want to use to run the service is correct.
7. In Password and Confirm password, re-type the password for the user account.

8. Click OK.

   The Services confirmation dialog box appears.

   

9. Click OK.
10. Continue with Configure FH CAD Monitor.
