Form Buttons

Form button perform actions to the displayed record when pressed. Some commonly used buttons are listed below.

Record navigation buttons are located at the bottom of each record form.

Warning: If the navigation buttons at the bottom of the form are not accessible, you have only selected one record. See Select Multiple Records for the steps to select more than one record.

Note: The sort order of your records is determined by the query used to select records.

Click this To do this
Go To The First Record Display the first record.
Go To The Previous Record Display the previous record. You can also use Ctrl + Left Arrow.
Go To The Next Record Display the next record You can also use Ctrl + Right Arrow.
Go To The Last Record Display the last record.
New Record Add a new record. You can also use Ctrl + N.
Open a Record Display a list of records to open. You can also use Ctrl + O, except in the NFIRS and EMS forms, where this opens the Occupancy form.
Save Record Save the currently displayed record. You can also use Ctrl + S.
Delete Record Delete the currently displayed record. You can also use Ctrl + D.
Print Print the currently displayed record. In most areas, you will have a selection of reports to print. You can also use Ctrl + P.
Cancel Close Close the currently displayed record. If you opened a record and made no changes, Close is displayed. If there are unsaved changes, the Cancel button is displayed. You can also use Ctrl + W.
