Queries Share Parameter Values

When you create a report or map that uses more than one query, you can share 'Ask User' parameter values. The parameter value you enter is passed to the primary query, then 'shared' with the other queries added for the report/map. When you set up a report/map that shares parameter values, you must do the following.

1. Access the Report Designer form (reports) or Map Designer form, Queries share parameter values checkbox.
2. Include all 'Ask' type parameters in the primary query.
3. Include the exact same 'Ask' type parameter in the subsequent queries you wish to share values with.
4. Keep all variable names for all parameters.
