Verify your access to SQL Server

Before beginning the update process, you should verify that FH Enterprise login you will use has database owner or sa security access SQL Server.

1. Choose Start → Programs → FIREHOUSE Software 7 → FIREHOUSE Software Enterprise Edition Tools → Remote Connection Configuration.

   The Remote Configuration dialog box appears.

2. Click the Login tab.

   

3. Check Server Login User Name to determine the login name of the account used to access SQL Server.

4. Click Test.

   A confirmation message should appear.

   

   Warning: If a connection error message appears, you must resolve it before continuing.

5. Click OK.
6. Continue with Disable the local cache and automated task processor.
