View PDF files in FIREHOUSE Software

Once you have completed your inspections and synchronized the data through FIREHOUSE Software Cloud, the PDF files are linked to the inspection in the FIREHOUSE Software database. With the proper FH Inspector credentials, you can access these PDF files from FIREHOUSE Software.

Note: Before you can view PDF files in FIREHOUSE Software, you need to configure FIREHOUSE Software to use an external browser, as described in Configure FIREHOUSE Software to view PDFs in the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud.

1. In FIREHOUSE Software, click the Inspect icon in the toolbar.

   The Inspection dialog box appears, set to the Basic tab.

2. Click the Other tab.

   

3. Click Attachments & Signatures.

   The Attachments & Signatures dialog box appears, set to the Attachments tab. The PDF is listed as a document on the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud web site.

   

4. Select the name of the file you want to view, and then click Run It.

   Because the PDF file is stored in the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud instead of in the FIREHOUSE Software database, you are prompted for login credentials to the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud.

   

5. Enter your iPad FH Inspector login credentials, and then click OK.

   The PDF file opens in your default external web browser.
