Checklist for setting up FH Inspector

Caution: Below is a high-level checklist of the steps an administrator for your department needs to perform to set up FH Inspector on the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud, in FIREHOUSE Software, and on the iPad. Detailed information for the steps below are available in the following pages of the FH Inspector Administrator's Guide.

Tip: Print this page off and check off the items below as you accomplish them.

 

Check for an email from FIREHOUSE Software technical support, containing a license key, administration login credentials, and other information. 

Install or update to FIREHOUSE Software 7.15.25 or later.

Install the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud Synchronization utility.

Log into FIREHOUSE Software as an administrator, and then do the following.

Verify that your scheduled inspections contain required values.

Verify that your violation codes are associated with an inspection checklist.

(If necessary) Create an inspection checklist with your violation codes.

Push data from the FIREHOUSE Software database to the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud, using the license key information provided in the email from the FIREHOUSE Software support.

Set up an automated task to run the synchronization between the FIREHOUSE Software database and the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud.

Enable the automated task processor.

Log into the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud, and then do the following.

Set up the department's account on the FIREHOUSE Software Cloud with logins for each iPad that will access FIREHOUSE Software Cloud.

Set up the violation notice template that will be used on all violation notices issues by your company.

On the iPad, do the following.

Log into the iTunes store and download the newest version of FH Inspector.

Activate FH Inspector with the license key from FIREHOUSE Software support.

Log into FH Inspector with a specific shift.

Use FH Inspector on the iPad to perform inspections and collect data.
