Clear a starting point marker from the map

Note: If you are using a global positioning system (GPS) device with FH Mobile Response, your current location is the starting point for the route, and you do not need to clear a starting point. The next time you route to a destination, the starting point is automatically cleared and re-established, based on your current location.

• Do one of the following.

  • Choose Go → Tools → Routing → Route Start → Clear Start.

  • (Premium) In the Main toolbar, choose Route → Clear Start.

  • Manually set a new starting point.

    Manually setting a new starting point automatically clears the existing starting point. Information on manually setting a starting point is available in Manually define a starting point for a route.

  The starting point flag and the label Route Start disappear from the map. If a route had been established from the starting point you cleared, the route also disappears from the map.
