Work with bookmarks of map views

A map view is the result of the current pan, zoom, and center information for a map, which results in the view you see in a Map tab. When you create a bookmark, you are saving the current pan, zoom, and center information for the map, so that you can quickly return to that view of the map without having to manually pan and zoom again.

Example: Below are four maps, each showing approximately the same area of the Earth, but with differing levels of closeness to the area, and slightly different centers to the map. To be able to quickly return to any of these views, you could save bookmarks for each of the views.
