Checklist for updating FH Mobile Response

Caution: Below is a high-level checklist of the steps you need to perform to update FH Mobile Response. Detailed information for the steps below are available in the following topics of the FIREHOUSE Software Mobile Response Update Guide.

Tip: Print this page and check off the items below as you accomplish them.

 

Verify that you received a package in the mail from FIREHOUSE Software, containing a USB drive with the newest version of the software.

On the computer set up as the FH Mobile Response server, depending on whether or not FH Mobile Response is integrated with a CAD system for incoming CAD data, do one of the following.

FH Mobile Response is Do this

Not integrated with a CAD system

  • Uninstall the current version of FH Mobile Response Server and install the new version of FH Mobile Response Server.

Integrated with FH CAD Monitor
  • Uninstall the current version of FH Mobile Response Server and install the new version of FH Mobile Response Server.

Integrated with a different CAD system

  1. Contact FH sales at FH Software Sales and request a customized FH Mobile Response updater specific to your CAD system.

  2. Run the customized FH Mobile Response updater software on the FH Mobile Response server.

    Note: Do not uninstall the earlier version of FH Mobile Response server, and do not run the FH Mobile Server installer on the USB drive for the newer version of FH Mobile Response. The custom updater will handle the updates for you.

On each client (mobile) computer with FH Mobile Response, run the FH Mobile Response update wizard to update the maps and software to the most current version.
