The FH Mobile Response server requires one of the following operating systems.
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows Server 2012 R2
Note: The FH Mobile Response server must be a networked server that is available at all times, and port
12840 must be available for communication with FH Mobile Response client computers.
Note: Extended support for end-of-life environments such as Windows XP, Vista, and so forth, is available if you subscribe to either FIREHOUSE Software's Gold or Platinum support program. The FH Mobile Response client (mobile computer) runs on Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Note: The FH Mobile Response client does not currently run on Windows 10.
The mobile computer must have the following hardware.

Note: To use the routing speech engine, you will also need a sound card and speakers.
FH Mobile Response requires and installs, as needed, the following software.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4 FULL
- Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5
- Windows Installer 4.5
- (Windows XP) Microsoft SQL Server Express 2008
- (Windows 7 or higher) Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012
- ArcGIS Engine Runtime 10.2.2
- Crystal Reports
- Visual Fox Pro OLE DB Provider
Note: During the installation process, the mobile computer is analyzed for these software packages, and they are automatically installed as needed, as part of the setup process.
