Change the FH login credentials

By default, FH is shipped with a user name of guest and a password of demo. For security reasons, you should change the password for guest to something other than the default.

1. Choose Tools → Change Password.

   The Change Password - Live Data dialog box appears.

   

2. In Current Password, type demo.

3. In New Password and Confirm New Password, type a password of your choice.

   Note: The new password should be something you can remember, and contain a mixture of alphabetic characters, numbers, and special characters such as @,#,%, and so forth.

4. Click OK.

   A confirmation dialog box appears.

   

5. Click OK.

   Note: This password change is for the user name guest. For daily work, you should add users to FH and assign their security levels. Information on setting up users and their security is available in the FH online Help, in the Users and Security topic.

   You are ready to begin exploring FH and its features, using your own database.
