Edit object properties

Depending upon which type of object you select, you can modify, re-orient, delete, or inspect the object’s properties. First, select the object and then right-click it. From the menu that appears, choose a Properties option. Different objects have different properties that can be edited.

Example: Invoking the properties of a placed text item gives you access to the Text dialog box, which lets you make modifications to the text entry itself, or provides you with further access to settings such as size, font, color, etc. This is the equivalent of choosing Edit → Font Properties.

You can also use your mouse to edit the size or orientation of existing lines and symbols.

Example: Dragging a line’s handle lengthens or shortens the line in the given direction. For symbols and text items, dragging the handle in a circular motion rotates the item.
