Merge Lookup Codes

If you have a code you no longer use and have replaced the obsolete code with a new code, you can merge the obsolete code into the new code. Merging will replace each occurrence of the obsolete code with the code you select to replace it.

  1. Select the Tools menu Lookup Table option.
  2. Select the lookup table that contains the codes you wish to merge.
  3. Select the code you want to merge into another code.
  4. Press Merge.

    The Select Code to Merge With dialog box is displayed. You will be prompted to continue.

  5. Press Yes to continue.

    You will prompted to delete the code that will be replaced.

  6. Press Yes to delete the old code, or No to merge the code without deleting the replaced code.

    Cancel will stop the merge process.
