Add Hose Specifications based on NFPA 1962
Hose specifications are added to the equipment record from the Inventory form, Specs section.
You must first have an inventory record open, with the basic information started. If you have not performed this step. Information on opening the inventory record is available in Add Base Inventory Record.
Warning: You should not change the inventory type after adding information to the Specs... section. If information is added and the Inventory Type is changed, the information is lost.
- Open the Inventory form, then access the Specs section.

Select "Hose" from the Inventory Type drop-down.
Hose specific fields are displayed in the Specs section, and maintenance and testing will include data elements specific to the inventory type.
- Complete remaining required and applicable fields as needed.
