Add Incident Staff Activity
Staff added from responding units are listed in the staff activity area. You can add additional staff if necessary. To add activities for incident-related activities that are not specifically incident response activities should be added from the NFIRS Incident Report or EMS/Search & Rescue form, Additional Reports section, Staff Activities button. Incident-related activities that are not incident response related are not displayed in the Units & Personnel section.

Access the form in one of these ways.
For fire incidents-
From the File menu, select the NFIRS 5.0 Incident Reporting selection, NFIRS 5.0 Incident Reports option, then select the incident record.
The Incident Report form is displayed.
- Access the Units & Personnel section.
For EMS incidents-
From the File menu, select the EMS/Search & Rescue Reporting selection, EMS/Search & Rescue Reports option, then select the incident record.
The EMS/Search & Rescue Report form is displayed.
- Access the Units & Personnel section.
- Open the patient record,
- Access the Other section.

- Press Add to add a single staff member to the activity. The Participant Detail form is displayed. A single participant can be added to a staff activity more than one time as long as a different Activity Code is used. This allows you to track different types of activities for a single staff member.
- Complete remaining required and applicable fields and add additional records as needed.
