Add EMS Vitals Assessments

1. From the File menu, select the EMS/Search & Rescue Reporting option, then the EMS/Search & Rescue Reports option.
2. (If the EMS/Search & Rescue Report form is displayed) Press Browse (or Ctrl + O), highlight the record then press OK.
3. (If the Query form is displayed) Select an incident then press OK.
4. Click the Patient/Victims tab.
5. Highlight a patient and press Open.

6. Click the Assessments & Treatments tab.

   If Use Auto Increment is checked, either the Arrived Pt/Vict time or the highlighted vital/procedure/medication time plus the interval specified in Auto Increment is used in the detail record time.

7. Uncheck Use Auto Increment to leave the detail record time blank.

8. Press Add Vitals/Ax.

   Patient vitals and assessment fields are displayed. Date and Time are automatically completed.

9. Change Date and Time if necessary.
10. Complete information in the Basic, Observation, Notes, and Other sections as needed.

11. Add additional detail records in one of these ways.

    Automatically complete detail times

    • Set the Auto Increment Value and check Use Auto Increment.
    Leave the detail time incomplete

    1. Uncheck Use Auto Increment.
    2. Press Rplcat to save and add another record.
    3. Press Vital to save and add an additional vital/assessment.
    4. Press Proc to save and add a procedure.
    5. Press Med to save and add a medication.
    6. Press Save to add the record to the assessments and treatments list.
    Leave without adding record

    • Press Cancel.
12. Press Close.
13. Save and close patient record.
