Add EMS Vitals Assessments

  1. From the File menu, select the EMS/Search & Rescue Reporting option, then the EMS/Search & Rescue Reports option.
  2. (If the EMS/Search & Rescue Report form is displayed) Press Browse (or Ctrl + O), highlight the record then press OK.
  3. (If the Query form is displayed) Select an incident then press OK.
  4. Click the Patient/Victims tab.
  5. Highlight a patient and press Open.
  6. Click the Assessments & Treatments tab.

    If Use Auto Increment is checked, either the Arrived Pt/Vict time or the highlighted vital/procedure/medication time plus the interval specified in Auto Increment is used in the detail record time.

  7. Uncheck Use Auto Increment to leave the detail record time blank.
  8. Press Add Vitals/Ax.

    Patient vitals and assessment fields are displayed. Date and Time are automatically completed.

  9. Change Date and Time if necessary.
  10. Complete information in the Basic, Observation, Notes, and Other sections as needed.
  11. Add additional detail records in one of these ways.

  12. Press Close.
  13. Save and close patient record.
