Download the update components you need

1. Contact Firehouse technical support at 800-921-5300, option 2, and discuss with them the task you are trying to accomplish.

   You will be receive an email with one or more links for accessing the download components you need.

2. In your email, click the link (or first of multiple links), or copy and paste the address into a web browser.

   The File Download dialog box appears.

   Caution: Do not click Open in the dialog box.

3. Click Save.

   The Save As dialog box appears.

4. Navigate to the location on your hard drive where you want to save the file.

   Warning: Do not save the file in the FIREHOUSE Software folder.

5. In File name, specify a name for the .ZIP file you are downloading.
6. In Save as type, select All Files.

7. Click Save.

   The Download Complete dialog box appears.

8. Click Close.
9. (If the email contained multiple links) Repeat steps 2-8 for each of the rest of the links in the email.
10. Navigate to the location on your computer where you downloaded the .ZIP file (or first of multiple .ZIP files) and double click the .ZIP file.

11. Unzip the contents of the .ZIP file to a location on the computer.

    Warning: Do not unzip the contents of the file into the FIREHOUSE Software folder.

12. (If you downloaded multiple .ZIP files) Repeat steps 10-11 for each of the remaining .ZIP files you downloaded.

    You now have all the components you need for installing FH 7 or updating to it from a previous version of FH.

13. (Optional) Burn the contents of any unzipped files to a CD for future reference.
14. Continue with Update to the next version of FH.
