No, in the short-term, nothing will change other than we look to provide the FIREHOUSE Software team with more support and resources. In the long-term, we will look to help modernize the software and make sure it lives on into the future. As we transition to one company with FIREHOUSE Software, we will communicate our plans and roadmap, so that you can make the best decision for your agency.

Agencies that use both product lines will enjoy greater interoperability. We will work with you and communicate changes in as timely a manner as possible to support your planning and processes.

We’ve just released the new NFIRS compliant Incidents Module. It progressively validates data to reduce human error, provides automated NFIRS submission to your state, and is fast-to-learn. Incidents integrates with ESO’s ePCR, Electronic Health Records, eliminating redundant data entry and meeting NEMSIS 3 compliance. Additionally, work is already underway on our new module set to be released this spring: Properties, Preplans, and Inspections. As we accelerate development on the other modules required for a full fire platform we hope you will keep a close eye on what we’re doing, take part in user group meetings and engage with us on what you want to see.

his event is being held in Dallas, Oct. 24 -27, 2017 and will continue as planned. We will be sending a team up to be part of the event and learn more about your needs and the products and services provided by FIREHOUSE Software. ESO President and CEO, Chris Dillie will kick off the conference to welcome everyone to the ESO family and share our vision for the future. We’re looking forward to meeting many of you during the conference!

This is an area the team is digging into right away. In the first week, we have seen progress and are ensuring the team is focused and has the resources to help you meet the deadlines. As the leading ePCR vendor in the prehospital space, ESO has always worked hard to make sure agencies are compliant with state reporting standards. In fact, ESO’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) is compliant in all NEMSIS 3 mandated states and has already met the compliance standard for many states that have not reached their state deadlines. For those organizations that are located in a state with a fast-approaching NEMSIS 3 deadline, you will have the option of moving to EHR and we will continue to monitor the FH Medic compliance work that is underway.
