3.1.0 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Inspector 3.1.0, and provide a listing of defects resolved during this release.
Note: FH Inspector 3.1.0 requires an iPad 2 or higher, and FIREHOUSE Software 7.15 or higher.
The following enhancements were incorporated in this release.
During hydrant inspections, you can now manually enter values in the Static Pressure and Residual Pressure fields, without having to perform a flow test calculation.
If you use FH Inspector in a country that does not have geographical areas identified as states, you can now select OO – Other as an option for any State field in FH Inspector.
The following issues were resolved in this release.
FH Inspector automatically "corrected" the spelling of login names. This forced some users to manually correct the auto-correct before touching Sign In.
Example: The user name breid
is based on a person's first-name initial and last name, and was being auto-corrected to bread
.
When a violation notice PDF was created, if photographs in the PDF occurred too near the page break, the photographs were cut off at the bottom of the page.
If you completed an inspection that had more than four photographs attached to it, when you created the inspection violation PDF, not all of the photographs appeared in the PDF file.
If you began a hydrant inspection that has a scheduled hydrant activity, if the value in Discharge Coef. and Outlet Diameter are other than 0.00
, and the other required fields for a flow test do not have values, the following message appears even if you do not touch Calculate for a flow test.
"Incomplete Flow Test" A flow test is in progress but has not been completed. Do you want to discard the flow test data?
If you have an inspection in-progress, but which has not been completed after a few days or weeks, the FH Inspector prompts the user for a synchronization with the FIREHOUSE Software database. If you choose No, FH Inspector later performs the synchronization on its own, even if you are currently using the application.
Then when you later completed the inspection and synchronized FH Inspector and the FIREHOUSE Software database, the following error message appeared
There was problem with the submitting of images. The following images were discarded:
If you performed a change of company in FH Inspector on the iPad, or clicked Clear Data or Clear All Data on the Department tab of the MMI web site, records from the previous company were occasionally listed with the records of the newly assigned company.
When you touch a field that requires a text entry, the iPad keyboard appear in the lower portion of the screen, However, it sometimes it completely covered the field you were typing data into, which made data entry difficult. This issue also occurred when an inspector or occupant needed to sign an inspection.
