3.0.4 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Inspector 3.0.4 for FH 7, and provide a listing of the enhancements implemented and defects resolved during this release.
Note: FH Inspector 3.0.4 requires an iPad 2 or higher, and FIREHOUSE Software 7.15 or higher.
The following enhancement was incorporated in this release.
Changes have been made that resulted in improved speed in the following areas.
- Displaying inspections on the map or list views.
- Image and PDF file uploads and downloads.
- Synchronizing and submitting inspections.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
If you send an email to several contacts, then open the email a second time to send it to different contacts, all the contacts that the email was sent to the first time are selected as recipients for the second email. If you clear these contacts and touch Send, the email opens and you can enter the email addresses of new recipients in the To field. However, the contacts who you had just cleared also appeared in the To field, even though you had specifically cleared them.
If a violation notice contained a photograph, unnecessary blank space appeared below the photograph in the violation notice PDF.
If you are using an iPad with iOS 8, when FH Inspector is restarted or upgraded, the document directory path changes. This change generated the following issues.
- All of a company's inspection images were downloaded every time a synchronization occurred.
- PDF inspection reports were downloaded every time they were accessed for viewing, instead of using the local version of the PDF report.
When you viewed a completed or scheduled hydrant inspection summary screen and then touched Done, the inspection was synchronized with the FH database, even though the inspection had not been changed and synchronization was unnecessary.
