2.0.2 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Inspector 2.0.2, and provide a listing of the defects resolved and the enhancements implemented during this release.
Note: FH Inspector 2.0.2 requires FIREHOUSE Software 7.15 or higher.
The following enhancement was implemented this release.
If FH Inspector closes unexpectedly while working, a dialog box now appears asking whether or not you want to submit a problem report for analysis. Submitting a crash report does not open a ticket with technical support to contact you, but it can provide valuable information for development to resolve issues in future releases.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
When you log into FH Inspector on the iPad, if FH Inspector has not been synchronized with the FH database in the last 24 hours, a message appears prompting you to synchronize them now.
If you clicked Yes, the message disappeared, the synchronization indicator (the spinning wheel) appeared briefly, but then disappeared before the synchronization completed. If you tried to log in to FH Inspector before the synchronization completed, you would be prompted again to sychronize.
After Apple updated its operating system on the iPad to iOS 7, the search feature in FH Inspector no longer appeared in the interface.
For any text field in FH Inspector, if the text you were were entering became long enough to cause the entry to scroll off the edge of the screen, when you then touched a new text field, FH Inspector exited unexpectedly.
If you open an inspection or reinspection for an occupancy and begin entering or editing data with the steps below, FH Inspector would sometimes exit unexpectedly.
-
Open an inspection or reinspection for an occupancy as normal.
The Business Details page appears.
-
On any of the different tabs, touch Edit Details.
The Editing Enabled bar appears near the top of the interface.
-
Begin entering or editing data for the fields as normal.
FH Inspector would sometimes exit unexpectedly.
