The 2009 edition of the FH Customer Satisfaction Survey is complete. Staff members of ACS Government Systems performed a survey of 1,000 randomly chosen FIREHOUSE Software clients. A wide range of questions were presented to discuss the current software design, sales & support services, and future product development. Thanks for the help. FH continues to make our life easier and we are consistantly building our data base in the inventory and occupancy modules. All hydrant records are now in and being used as well as all our apparatus and maintenance records. It's amazing and mindblowing at times!

It is refreshing to get this kind of a response from technical support. I've gotten all too many responses that take two, three, or more days to reach me. And when they do, I often wonder if they even read what my problem since their "help" is not even close to solving my problem.

Tempe, AZ"Of all the programs out there, FIREHOUSE Software is the best so far for fire inspection tracking. We have been using FIREHOUSE Software mostly for the Fire Prevention activities in our town since 1997. The program has been great, and with very little work, you can customize most reports and lookup tables to fit your needs.
We use NFPA codes, and the original FIREHOUSE Software is set-up with the UFC. I erased all of the UFC data, and as we complete inspections, we add the appropriate NFPA data."

"I am in the Fire Prevention office with Tempe Fire Department, Tempe, Arizona. We have been using the software for about a year and a half in our office and have just begun using it for suppression. From what we have been able to track and report on to this date, I would say that it is definitely not an afterthought module of the software. We have had great success with it and the willingness of FIREHOUSE Software to receive comments or recommendations for ways to improve the software for everyone.
Although we started with no records in the system, we have imported information from our sales and tax department as well as such information as sprinkler system coverage for each address from our building safety department. With just those two departments we went from zero records to over 6000 occupancy records.
We are not just updating the information on each occupancy as we do the inspections. Quarterly reports which we provide to fire administration used to take days to compile. Last month I printed out all of the necessary reports in less than 30 minutes. At this point I think it is one of the strongest modules in the software and its ability to provide quick, accurate data is limited only by the users imagination. I hope this helps in your view of Occupancies."

Ledyard Fire Company"I'm Assistant Fire Chief for the 132 FW Fire Department located at the Des Moines International Airport. I also serve as a volunteer Assistant Fire Chief for the Indianola Fire Department. I have used FIREHOUSE Software for several years now in both departments. The 132 FW Fire Department was recently inspected by an Air Force Inspection team for compliance of training records. We were also inspected by the Federal Aviation Administration for compliance of training requirements pertaining to Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting. I was very pleased with the outcome of both inspections. Both inspectors praised our department for the outstanding training records. The format of the data was easy for both inspectors to interpret.
For the Indianola Fire Department I have been very busy providing the Fire Chief, City Manager, Council Members, and Mayor with departmental data collected over the last several years, indicating the need for some full-time staff. As in most volunteer departments, staffing for emergencies can be very difficult at best during the day, as volunteers are away from the area working their career jobs. With the use of data collected over the last few years, the City Council approved the hiring of six full-time staff. These people will assure that our community has personnel available to respond to their calls for assistance when needed.
Without the use of the FIREHOUSE Software, the inspections at the airport, and the information needed to convince the Indianola City Council would have been much more difficult. I would recommend FIREHOUSE Software to any department looking for an excellent management tool in tracking all aspects of fire department related activities."
