The Exceptional Year that was 2010!
From start to finish, 2010 was an exceptional and busy year. Special events occurred at the beginning and end of the year, with new product releases and debuts in between. We'll take a quick recap.
· The acquisition of ACS by Xerox Corporation in early February was completed. Combining the organizations created a company that offers unmatched business process and document management technologies and services worldwide.
· The FH maintenance update to version 7.5 was distributed to the majority of clients with active support contracts. FH 7.5 ensures that departments are compliant with the current NFIRS specifications. FH 7.6 and 7.7 were also distributed on a limited basis for NEMSIS reporting enhancements.
· FH Mobile 1.7 was released, providing enhancements to FH Mobile ePCR and FH Mobile Preplans.
· FH Sketch was released in May. The sketch application you've been asking for was integrated into the Occupancy module, letting you draw, update, and export scenes and plans.
· FHinspector for iPad debuted in August at Fire Rescue International. Client 'excitement' might be understating the interest it received.
· The Westin Seattle hosted the 2010 FIREHOUSE Software Education and Training Seminar in Seattle. WA. Over 400 attendees from 300 different departments across the country were treated to seeing some of the upcoming 2011 FH products and enhancements.
Once again, we thank you for choosing FIREHOUSE Software. We appreciate your business, and will continue to provide the products, support, and innovation to serve you now and in the future.

lt's time to use the app for that!
FHinspector for iPad ™ is available now! FIREHOUSE Software has combined iPad's trademark interface and live GPS with your inspections, pre-incident plans, permits, and hydrant records allowing your department to tackle more inspections, and making them faster and easier than ever before. By using the FH Cloud Service, a Wi-Fi or 3G connection is all you'll need for real-time communication to your FH database.
The FH Cloud service is a secured connection using an HTTPS address and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect data as it is pushed to the FH Cloud from the FH database at the fire station and then pulled to the iPad in your hands. Synchronizing with the FH Cloud copies data, codes, and checklist information used in FIREHOUSE Software to FHinspector to keep your information consistent throughout.
Designed for fire company inspections, FHinspector unleashes the power of today's most creative and dynamic technology to provide another level of mobile implementation for scheduled occupancy and hydrant inspections. Occupancy inspections are filtered by the unit/company and shift to provide the company with only their activities. Inspection checklists ensure quality documentation of passed and failed inspection items, capturing inspector notes with each finding. Existing preplan information and alerts can be reviewed and edited for accuracy, and new preplan information can be added. Hydrant inspections, an addition to FH's mobile offerings, works very similarly. Scheduled hydrant activities assigned to units and shifts are pulled down to FHinspector for the company to capture their flush, service and inspection information.
Stop allowing the inspection paperwork to pile up on your desk. Contact your FH sales representative today for pricing information.
